SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has picked Cortland's Hunter Bernhardt and Geneseo's Trent Makowiec as this week's Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week repsectively.

Bernhardt earned three individual wins and swam on three winning relays to help Cortland claim the team title at the six-team, two-day Cortland Snow Flurries Invitational. He won the 500-yard freestyle (4:47.47), the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.54) and the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:57.45), and contributed to the winning 400-yard medley relay (3:39.39), 200-yard freestyle relay (1:28.62) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:14.55).

Makowiec had an impressive performance at the RPI Diving Invitational this past week. He qualified for the NCAA Region 4 Championships with scores of 574.15 in the 3 meter and 555.45 in the 1 meter. Makowiec finished first in both events
