SUNYAC selects Women's Lacrosse Athletes of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Buffalo State senior Kendall Skuse (Churchville, N.Y.) as the Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while Brockport senior Nikki Nolan (Hampton Bay, N.Y.) has been tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Week.

Skuse piled up 21 points in a pair of wins. The senior had four goals and four assists in a 15-4 win over D'Youville on Tuesday, and tied a school single-game record with 13 points in a 22-7 victory at Houghton on Friday. Skuse netted four goals and had nine assists in the game and leads the Bengals with 39 points (12 goals and 27 assists) in five games this season. 

Nolan continued to be a shutdown force for the Green and Gold this past week as she made three caused turnovers and picked up five grown balls in the Golden Eagles win over Kutztown.
