After defeating the No. 1 nationally ranked William Smith on the road last Saturday, the Fredonia State women's soccer team went from being unranked to No. 22 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental NCAA Division III women's poll.

It is believed to be the first time Fredonia State has been ranked nationally.

In addition, the Blue Devils moved up four spots regionally from No. 8 to No. 4.

SUNY New Paltz  is ranked No. 5 and SUNY Cortland is No. 9 in the NSCAA East Region Poll.
