The 2011 SUNYAC Women’s Tennis Playoffs – and the quest for the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championships - begins Friday at the East Side Racquet Club in Manlius, NY and runs through Sunday afternoon. The tournament field was set at the conclusion of the regular season as each team played opponents in their division to determine the East and West rankings.
Ch-Ch-Changes:A significant change associated with this year’s women’s tennis Championship is for the first time in tournament history a team format will be used. In the past the tournament was based on six singles flights and three doubles flights.
Team Championship: Eight-team Dual Tournament, which is seeded based on a divisional play in the regular season. All matches will take place at the Eastside Racquet Club.
