SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNYAC has picked Plattsburgh's Nicole Svantner as the first 2023 SUNYAC Women's Tennis Singles Athlete of the Week while Brockport's Samantha Aubin and Shannon Aubin were tabbed the Doubles Team of the Week.

In her first career match at No. 2 singles, Svantner swept her opponent, winning 7-5, 6-2, clinching the team victory with the fifth win of the day for the Cardinals.

The duo of identical twins, Samantha and Shannon went 2-0 on the week for the Golden Eagles. Playing at No. 2 doubles, they defeated St. John Fishers and Houghton in a 9-0 sweep.
