SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC recognizes Cortland teammates Emily Morano, Emma Madigan and Christina Massoni with this week's SUNYAC Women's Tennis awards. Morano was named the Singles Athlete of the Week while Madigan and Massoni were selected as the Doubles Team of the Week.

Morano went 2-0 at fourth singles during the week. Her 6-3, 7-5 win Wednesday at Oneonta helped Cortland defeat its rival Red Dragons for the first time since 2014. On Friday, she won 6-1, 6-2 in a non-league match versus visiting Misericordia. Morano is 5-1 in singles play this fall.

Madigan and Massoni won both of their matches at third doubles during the week for the Red Dragons. They posted an 8-7 (8-6) win Wednesday to help Cortland defeat Oneonta for the first time since 2014. On Friday, they earned an 8-0 victory in a non-league match versus visiting Misericordia. Madigan and Massoni are 6-0 as a doubles unit this season, including 5-0 in league play.
