SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Cortland teammates Dylan Mackenzie and Luis Misla are the first 2024 SUNYAC Baseball Athlete and Pitcher of the Week respectively.

Mackenzie batted .435 with a homer, double, four walks, six RBI and a .519 on-base percentage through Cortland's first seven games of the season. At the D3 Showcase Tournament in North Carolina he hit .529 (9-for-17) with a homer and four RBI in four games versus nationally ranked teams. Misla allowed only two hits, three walks and one run and struck out 11 batters over four and a third innings during Cortland's 5-4 win over nationally 20th-ranked Christopher Newport at the D3 Showcase Tournament in Greensboro, N.C. He received a no decision when CNU rallied to tie game after he left.
