Cortland's Davis Named SUNYAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC picks Cortland's Joel Davis as its Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.
Davis averaged 19 points, 10.3 rebounds, three assists and 2.3 blocks per game in a 2-1 week for the Red Dragons, all on the road. He recorded a double-double in each game, starting with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 78-59 win at Buffalo State on Tuesday. He finished with 25 points and 10 boards in a loss at New Paltz Friday and finished the week with 12 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and five blocks in a 76-66 win at Oneonta Saturday.
