Geneseo's Craig Lange Finishes Ninth in Assists Per Game; Cortland Ranks First in Scoring Defense

 

Geneseo senior Craig Lange completed the 2011 season ranked ninth in NCAA Division III with 2.36 assists per game. An honorable mention All-America and first team All-SUNYAC pick, Lange led the Blue Knights with 33 assists, finishing his stellar career third in assists (113) on the Geneseo charts.
Brockport senior midfielder Mike Tammaro was close behind Lange, ranked 13th in the category. Tammaro set a Brockport school record with 29 assists, and he also tied a school record with nine points (two goals, school-record seven assists) during Brockport's come-from-behind, 14-13 win over Oneonta April 23.

Kyle Norchi led all SUNYAC players and ranked 11th in the NCAA with 3.19 goals per game. Norchi, an honorable mention All-America, paced the Cardinal attack with 51 goals on the season.

The Cortland Red Dragons led the nation in scoring defense (4.68), ranked second on man-up opportunities and posted the third highest scoring margin.
