BINGHAMTION, N.Y. – Geneseo (10-0) has captured its fourth straight State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Tennis Championship with a 5-0 win over New Paltz (9-3).
This is the Knight's eighth SUNYAC title overall, and the sixth under head coach Jim Chen.
Geneseo came out strong with a 3-0 start in doubles and clinched the championship with wins from second singles, Cat Crummey (6-0, 6-2) and fourth singles, Dexuan Yuan (6-2, 6-2) .
With the win, the Knights earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tennis Championship in the spring.
