SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Brockport's Thomas Kressly and Dustin Meyer have been chose as this week's Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Kressly helped the Golden Eagles take first in two events this past weekend at their home Brockport Multi and Invitational. First he won the 1000-meter race with a time of 2:31.72. Next he joined the distance medley relay squad that placed first with a time of 10:48.61.

Meyer hit a huge mark over the weekend at Brockport's Multi and Invitational meet at home. He took first place in the pole vault by clearing 5.01 meters. This marks a new personal-best, ranks fourth in the nation, and is just the second time in program history a Golden Eagle pole vaulter has cleared 5 meters.
