CORTLAND, N.Y. – The top seeded Cortland Red Dragons fought their way out of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Softball Tournament losers bracket Saturday to force an additional game against No. 2 Geneseo, Sunday at noon in Cortland.

Cortland eliminated Brockport in the first game of the day Saturday, 7-1, and then beat Geneseo, 5-4, who was undefeated in the tournament. With the win Cortland and Geneseo will face off again Sunday at noon in the double elimination tournament.

Cortland looks to take its 13^th overall title while Geneseo will play for its second-ever SUNYAC softball crown.
