Field Hockey Division III – Mid-Atlantic

Co-Offensive Players of the Week

Kayla DeAngelis – SUNY Geneseo
Senior, Forward, Liverpool, NY

DeAngelis continued her record-breaking season last week, leading the Knights' offense during a pair of road victories. Following a 1-goal, 1-assist performance that established new program single-season goal and points scoring standards in a 5-2 win at St. John Fisher, she set a Geneseo single-game record with nine points on four goals (which also tied the Knights' single-game goal record) and an assist in a 6-4 comeback win at #18 Rochester. Trailing 3-2 early in the second half, DeAngelis scored three straight goals in a nine-minute span, including the eventual game-winner, to push the Knights to their fourth-consecutive victory.

Co-Defensive Players of the Week

Mairead Hourihan – SUNY Cortland
Freshman, Goalkeeper, Yorktown Heights, NY

Hourihan posted two wins in the cage for Cortland last week as the Red Dragons improved to 13-2 overall on the season. In a 3-2 OT win at St. Lawrence on Wednesday, she made eight saves in 76:18. Hourihan then played the first half in a 9-0 victory versus Houghton on Friday and did not face a shot. For the week, she posted a 2-0 record with a 1.26 GAA and an .800 save percentage.
