CARLISLE, PA – The #17 Buffalo State men's soccer team fell to #6 Dickinson Red Devils tonight with a final score of 2-0 on Miller Memorial Field in the NCAA Tournament Third Round.

  • As a team, the Bengals outshot the Red Devils with a narrow 13-12 margin.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The two sides had a back-and-forth defensive battle in the first half as neither side could find the back of the net.
  • The matchup would remain the same for much of the second half, until the Red Devils found an opportunity late to open the scoring.
  • Buffalo State threatened shortly after with a trio of shots, but Dickinson was able to keep the Bengals off the scoreboard.
  • The Red Devils added another goal with five minutes remaining and killed the clock the rest of the way to secure the win and advance to the NCAA Quarterfinals.
