Geneseo Wins 2024 SUNYAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship

BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Geneseo captured the 2024 SUNYAC men's indoor track and field championship with 184.83 points, Saturday at Brockport's SERC Field House. This is the Knights seventh-straight SUNYAC title and 14th overall. Cortland finished second while Brockport was third.  


Awards:

The Men's Performer of the meet, with the most overall points, was Tyler McGrath from Buffalo State.

The Men's Most Outstanding Performance of the meet will be announced next week.


All-Conference

The All-Conference first, second and third teams consist of the top three finishers in each event. 


Elite 20

The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. This year there is a four-way tie. The SUNYAC honored Brockport's Jacob Miller and Geneseo's Jack Heraty, Drew Allocco and Plattsburgh's Noah Bonesteel all maintaining a 4.00 GPA. Miller is a finance major, Heraty is an accounting major, Allocco is majoring in Biology and Bonesteel is an art studio major.
