SYRACUSE, NY - Geneseo's Andrew Kent has been voted the 2024 SUNYAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Scholar Athlete of the Year. This award is nominated and voted on by the conference sports information directors. 

Kent recorded a fall semester GPA of 4.0 as a sophomore. He maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.86 as a communications major.

In 2024, Kent earned first-team All-American status in the 4x400-meter relay as he helped the Knights finish fifth overall at the NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships. Kent also competed in the 400-meter race at the NCAA's and finished 17th. He placed eighth in the same event at the 2024 SUNYAC championships.
