SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland's Leah Bernhardt and Ashley Zachgo have been recogonized as this week's SUNYAC Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week.

Bernhardt won three events at the seven-team Cortland Snow Flurries Invitational last Friday and Saturday. She captured the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.40), the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.23) and the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:22.18). In addition, Bernhardt anchored the winning 800-yard freestyle relay team (8:25.40) and swam the third leg on the winning 400-yard freestyle relay squad (3:50.66). She had Cortland's fastest legs in both relays (2:02.02 and 57.13, respectively). Bernhardt's performances helped Cortland win the team title at the event.

Zachgo won the 1-meter diving competition (11-dive score of 383.80 pts.) and was third in the 3-meter event (11-dive score of 356.85 pts.) at the Cortland Snow Flurries Invitational. She helped Cortland claim the team title in the seven-school tournament.
