SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has named Geneseo teammates Emily Thomas, and Alexandra Pucci-Schaefer the first Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week for the 2023-24 season.

Freshman Thomas led Geneseo to a 243-56 victory over Cortland on Saturday. Thomas won three events at the meet, the 100 yard breaststroke (1:08.15), the 200 yard breaststroke (2:34.08), and was on the winning 200 yard medley relay team (1:50.51). Thomas was also on the second place 200 yard freestyle relay team (1:43.33).

Against Cortland, Pucci-Schaefer took first in both the 1 and 3-meter dives. Pucci-Schaefer scored a 210.15 in the one-meter dive and a 201.70 in the three-meter.
