SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC releases the 2024 Women's Swimmer of the Year, Diver of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards as nominated and voted on by the conference coaches. 

Women's Swimmer of the Year and Rookie of the Year - Alex Sotek, Geneseo
Sotek was a first team All-American in the 50 freestyle placing fifth at the NCAA championships, breaking her own SUNYAC record. She earned second team honors in the 200 freestyle relay. At the SUNYAC championships she was named the Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet after she won the 50 and 100 freestyle races, placed second in the 100 butterfly and was a part of four winning relays.

Women's Diver of the Year - Kyra Russ, Brockport
Russ was the 2024 SUNYAC champion on both boards and was named the Women's Outstanding Diver of the Meet. She advanced to the NCAA Regional diving competition where she finished ninth on the 3-meter board and 11th on the 1-meter.
