"Our doubles play was some of the best I've seen all year to win the 1pt in doubles. Justine & Syd led the way in singles bringing home their singles points. Albright put up strong resistance but in the end strong play from Alyssa secured the needed point to win the match. On a day where we had to find a way to win I couldn't have been prouder of each and every player today. Everyone did their part in a great NCAA win. Off to play the #3 team in the country Middlebury 10am start."
The Hawks will return to the courts in Middlebury, Vermont, tomorrow morning at 10a.m. for round two of the NCAA Tournament.
