Ardner and Fisk Earn SUNYAC Women's Track & Field Weekly Honors

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has picked Geneseo's Windsor Ardner as this week's Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week while Cortland's Danielle Fisk repeats as the Field Athlete of the Week.

Windsor Ardner won both the 800-meter and 1500-meter at the RIT Invitational. Ardner's 800m was timed at 2:15.97, which ranks 1st in the conference and 17th in the the nation. Her 1500m of 4:38.15 also ranks 1st in the conference, and 25th in the nation.

Fisk won the high jump, finished second in the long jump and was fourth in the javelin throw at the Cortland Red Dragon Open. Her high jump of 1.68 meters (5' 6") is tied for sixth nationally in Division III and is first in the SUNYAC, and her long jump of 5.45 meters (17' 10.75") is tied for 23rd nationally. Both are All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) qualifiers. Fisk's javelin throw was 28.50 meters (93' 6").
