SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has chosen Buffalo State's Nat Sawyer as the Women's Track Athlete of the Week while Oneonta's Isabella Fabrizio is the Field Athlete of the Week.

Sawyer earns her third SUNYAC Track Athlete of the Week honors as she finished the week with a pair of first-place finishes at the Rochester Alumni Invite on Saturday. Sawyer won the 400-meter dash in 56.38 seconds, the fastest time in the conference this year and ninth-fastest in the nation. She also anchored the Bengals to a regional-qualifying time of 3:56.32 while winning the 4x400-meter relay, the best mark in the SUNYAC and 15th-fastest time in the nation in the event.

Junior Fabrizio placed second in the women's shot put at the Cortland Classic with a throw of 13.18 meters. She then hit a personal best of 47.93 to take third in the hammer throw.
