ONEONTA, N.Y. - Geneseo won the 2023 SUNYAC women's outdoor track and field championship with 291 points, Saturday at Oneonta's All College Track and Field. This is the Knights sixth-straight and 15th overall SUNYAC women's outdoor track and field title. Brockport finished second while Cortland was third.

Awards

The SUNYAC Most Valuable Performer is awarded to the athlete with the most combined points at the SUNYAC two-day championship meet. There was a tie with Buffalo State's Nat Sawyer and Cortland's Autumn Pittman both earning 22.5 points. The Most Outstanding Performance will be voted on by the coaches and announced next week. 

The All-Conference first, second and third teams consist of the top three finishers in each event.

Elite 20

The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. This year there was a tie with both Geneseo teammates maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Nieve Mahood is a sophomore psychology major and Katherine Peterson is undeclared in her sophomore year.
