MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY - Cortland
Brian Hotchkiss, freshman

Brian Hotchkiss (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) was Cortland's top finished in the 5,000-meter race at the Cornell University John Reif Memorial Run. He finished fourth out of 43 runners with a time of 17:15.0 and was the top collegiate finisher in the race. There was no team scoring. Hotchkiss finished ten seconds ahead of the next runner.

FIELD HOCKEY - New Paltz
Alyssa Finck, senior defender

Senior Alyssa Finck (Hudson, NY/Ichabod Crane) made two defensive saves and added four assists in a 2-0 week for New Paltz to earn SUNYAC Field Hockey Player of the Week. Finck assisted on the lone goal in the 54th minute in a 1-0 win over Stevens on Wednesday, snapping the Ducks five-game win streak. She followed her assist with a defensive save in the 59th minute to help preserve the shutout win. On Thursday, Finck set the single-game mark for assists with three against Ramapo as the Hawks posted a 5-2 victory and third consecutive win.
 
MEN'S SOCCER - Fredonia
John Grabowski, senior forward

Fredonia senior John Grabowski (Middleport, NY/Roy-Hart) finished with one goal and one assist as the Blue Devils posted two wins on the weekend to earn a share of the SUNYAC regular-season title. Grabowski assisted on the game-winning goal during a 1-0 overtime win against nationally ranked #15 Brockport, handing the Golden Eagles their second loss of the season. On Saturday, he scored the lone goal on a header in the 29th minute for the 1-0 victory over Geneseo. Fredonia has won its last four games to improve to 9-8 on the season after starting the campaign 0-5.
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER - Geneseo and Brockport
Kelly Bergin, junior forward - Geneseo

Junior Kelly Bergin (Middletown, NY/Pine Bush) has been selected as the SUNYAC Women's Soccer Co-Player of the Week after scoring four goals in two games to help Geneseo clinch the No. 5 seed in the SUNYAC Tournament. Bergin netted a hat-trick, including the game-winner with 25:50 remaining to give Geneseo a 3-2 win over Buffalo State on Friday. Her first goal was scored in the ninth minute and her second goal came in the 60th minute for a 2-1 lead. On Saturday, Bergin added an insurance goal in the 3-0 victory against Fredonia.
 
Sarah Lawson, sophomore midfield - Brockport
Sophomore Sarah Lawson (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca East) broke the school's single-season assist record to earn SUNYAC Women's Soccer Co-Player of the Week honors. Lawson set up Brockport's only goal in the 30th minute of a 1-0 win over Fredonia, bringing her season assist total to 13. She leads the SUNYAC in assists and was ranked third in Division III with 0.92 assists per game.
 
VOLLEYBALL - Oneonta
Jessica Zerega, junior libero

Oneonta junior Jessica Zerega (New City, NY/Clarkstown) helped lead the Red Dragons to a 3-1 finish in the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play. Zerega finished with 90 digs on the weekend, including a career-high 30 in the 3-1 win against New Paltz. She totaled 17 digs against Potsdam, 22 verse Cortland and 21 against Plattsburgh to average 5.63 digs per game. The Red Dragons have qualified for the SUNYAC Tournament as the No. 3 seed from the East Division.
 
ICE HOCKEY PLAYER - Oswego
Chris Laganiere, senior forward

Senior men's ice hockey forward Chris Laganiere (Owego, NY/Pembroke Lumberkings) has been named the first SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week for the 2010-2011 season after posting four points on two goals and two assists as the Lakers recorded a two-game series sweep over 2010 NCAA Tournament qualifier Elmira College. In Friday night's 4-1 home win, he scored the game's first goal on a power play 2:25 into the contest. Laganiere scored another power-play goal on Saturday during the second period and earned assists on Oswego State's third and fourth goals that sealed the road victory for the Lakers.
 
ICE HOCKEY GOALIE - Brockport
Oliver Wren, junior

Junior Oliver Wren (Oakville, ONT/Oakville Blades) finished with 34 saves in Brockport's season-opening 3-1 loss against Utica to earn the SUNYAC Men's Ice Hockey Goalie of the Week honors. Wren made 14 saves apiece in both the first and second periods as he finished with a .944 save percentage. He allowed a second-period power play goal and a third period goal before Utica completed the scoring on an empty net in the final minute.
