Cimorelli and Makowiec Named SUNYAC Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has picked Geneseo's Jack Cimorelli and Trent Makowiec as this week's Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week respectively.

Cimorelli posted an outstanding weekend at the Total Performance Invitational hosted by Kenyon College. Cimorelli swam to an NCAA B-Cut in the 200 IM, finishing seventh against some of the nation's best competition with a time of 1:51.14. He was also part of the Knights' 200 Medley Relay team that set a Geneseo and SUNYAC record with a finishing time of 1:30.94 .

Makowiec led the Knights at the Carnegie Mellon Diving Invitational where he finished in first place in both the one-meter and three-meter dives. Makowiec took first in the one-meter with a score of 476.75. He added a first-place finish off the three-meter board with a score of 523.70 to sweep the meet.
