MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville senior outside hitter Emily Huppee (Liberty Hill, Tex.) wrapped up her stellar collegiate career with yet another accolade to her backing, having been selected as an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American in 2024.
 
Huppee, who snags the accolade for a third time as a member of the honorable mention team, was recently named to the AVCA All-Region First Team for a third time in Region 3, after collecting her third conference Player of the Year award this season.
 
The Austin, Texas native wrapped up her final season with the Mustangs with a total 555 kills across the year, an average 5.09 per set, while serving up 57 aces as she raced towards 633.5 total points, an average of 5.8 per set.
 
Huppee currently leads all of the NCAA, Division III, in kills per set, having averaged 5.09 across the season, and is also first in points per set on the year, averaging 5.81.
 
Additionally, she ranks 11th overall in the NCAA in attacks per set, is 13th in total attacks and ranks second overall in points and total kills on the year.
 
Huppee is the first student-athlete in program history to collect All-American honors for the Mustangs, and is the first to earn Player of the Year across three different conferences, having been named the SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Year this past season for leading the league in five different offensive categories.
 
Across her career, Huppee has set numerous records for the Mustangs, including kills in a five-set match, kills in a single season and total attacks in a single season.
 
Additionally, Huppee became the all-time leader in career kills with 1,789, kills per set (4.13), total attempts (4,022), is second overall in hitting percentage (.293), and is the all-time leader in service aces (210).
 
Huppee is a four-time All-Conference honoree, snagging first team honors for a third time in her career her final season. She was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week four times across the season for the SUNYAC alone.
