The 2014 SUNYAC fall season kicks off this weekend

Cortland, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) 2014 fall season will commence this week with women's tennis starting off the year with the first conference match Friday, August 29. The Geneseo ladies host Oswego in the west division. The east division will begin September 5 at SUNY Cortland. The SUNYAC tennis championships will be held October 10-12 at the Binghamton Tennis Center.

Men's and women's soccer will begin conference play September 26. SUNYAC playoffs will be held on Saturday, November 1 and Wednesday, November 5, with the championship set for Saturday, November 8. All tournament games will be hosted by the higher seed.

Field hockey opens up the SUNYAC slate September 19. The SUNYAC semifinals will be held on Wednesday, November 5 and the final will be Saturday, November 8 with all tournament games being hosted by the higher seed.

The cross country teams kick off their season this weekend at various venues. The SUNYAC cross country championships will be held at Brockport on Saturday, November 1.

Volleyball opens up their conference schedule the weekend of September 26 with pool play hosted by Oneonta and Oswego. The SUNYAC volleyball championships will be held at the top seed  November 7-9.
