White-Principio Named SUNYAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC picks Giavanna White-Principio from Oswego as its Women's Basketblal Athlete of the Week.

White-Principio had two double-doubles to lead the Lakers to a perfect 2-0 record in SUNYAC play over the weekend. White-Principio shot 10-18 from the floor for 24 points, to go with 33 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 blocked shots and only committed a single turnover over two games on the weekend. Her dominant presence in the paint allowed nearly no one to take away rebounds from her as she recorded a season-high 18 rebounds in Friday's win against Potsdam and another 15 rebounds in Saturday's win against Plattsburgh.
