SYRACUSE, N.Y. - New Paltz's Brianna Fitzgerald earns SUNYAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week recognition for the fifth time this season.

Fitzgerald posted a double-double Friday in a win over Plattsburgh before totaling a game-high 26 points in a win over Potsdam Saturday. Against the Cardinals, Fitzgerald posted 13 points and 11 rebounds to register her ninth double-double of the season, while shooting 6-for-15 with three assists, four steals and a block. She then led her team to a one-point win in their regular season finale against the Bears, registering a game-high 26 points with eight rebounds, with two assists and two steals.
