SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Molly Stephens from Oneonta is the SUNYAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 14.

Stephens had a sensational week averaging 24.5 points on 41.5 percent shooting from the floor, 38.9 percent from downtown, and 9.5 rebounds as she led Oneonta to two SUNYAC wins. In the Red Dragons 61-56 victory over Oswego, she finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals for her first collegiate double-double. Stephens then dropped a career-high 29 points with eight rebounds and shot 6-for-11 from beyond the arc, including the game-tying three with 25 seconds left, in the Red Dragons 71-69 comeback win at Buffalo State.
