Cortland Tops 2023 SUNYAC Field Hockey Preseason Poll
SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland was ranked No. 1 in the 2023 SUNYAC field hockey preseason poll as voted on by the league coaches. In 2022, the Red Dragons clinched the program's 16th overall conference trophy and first since 2017 with a 2-1 overtime win against Geneseo.
New Paltz, voted No. 2 in the poll, looks to win its seventh overall conference title this year. Geneseo, ranked third in the preseason poll, will compete for its fourth overall league trophy.
