SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC recognizes Ayden Fleming (New Paltz) and Ella Buchanan (Brockport) as this week's Field Hockey Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week respectively.

Fleming became just the third Hawk to record a hat-trick twice in a single season and she did so in back to back games after leading the way offensively in a 6-1 rout of St. John Fisher Saturday. Coming off the bench, Fleming scored the Hawks' second goal in the win, which came in the second quarter before adding to the lead at 4-0 and put away the final nail in the win with her third three minutes left, which solidified the five-goal difference. She was efficient with her chances on cage, totaling six shots, four of which on goal for a .500 shot and .667 shot-on-goal percentage, respectively in 28 minutes of action.

Buchanan shutout Nazareth and went 3-0 on the week in the cage for the Golden Eagles. She saved over 77% of the shots she faced and only allowed two goals in just over 155 minutes of play.
