In 2008 and 2010 he was a second team All-SUNYAC selection and most recently earned first team all-conference honors and was named to the 2011 SUNYAC All-Tournament team. Leading the Cardinal offense all season, he posted a career-high 14 goals and 33 points, including two goals in Plattsburgh’s two postseason games. Shaughnessy netted seven game-winners and registered at least one point in 12 of the Cardinals’ 20 games.
