SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Geneseo's Lance Jensen is the SUNYAC Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week and Cortland's Mitchell Makowski is the Field Athlete of the Week.

Jensen returned to the event where he won a national championship in 2023, taking first overall in the 400m hurdles with a time of 53.33. Jensen's time is currently fifth-fastest in the country. Jensen also placed second at the meet in the 100m at 11.08.

Makowski won the hammer throw at the Cortland Red Dragon Open with a distance of 57.67 meters (189' 2"). His effort ranks ninth nationally in Division III and is an AARTFC qualifier. Makowski also finished fourth in the shot put (13.74 meters/45' 1") and 10th in the discus (36.16 meters/118' 8").
