The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has named their college men's and women's basketball athletes of the week and for the Upstate Division III Region it was two State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Players of the Week. Senior guards from Fredonia State, Tyrone Clark and Becky Hebert were honored with these ECAC weekly awards.

Tyrone Clark played every minute of both SUNYAC road games totaling 63 points and 18 rebounds. He averaged 31.5 points this week and shot 55% from the field. Clark has scored 30 or more points five times this season averaging 21.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, and shooting 53.7 percent from the floor.

Hebert led the Blue Devils in scoring and shooting accuracy as they won their third and fourth straight games. The Blue Devils hadn't won at either opposing school in eight years (were 0-14 in last seven seasons) and hadn't won both on the trip since 1993-94. Hebert averaged 22.5 points and shot 70% from the field this week. Overall this season she is averaging 23.5 points per game on 59.2 percent field-goal shooting and 84.7 percent from the line.
