This is Kathleen Payne's second consecutive time she has been awarded with All-Conference East Region First Team honors. After all four years at Plattsburgh State Payne is now the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,722 points over her illustrious career. This season Payne averaged 19.6 points per game as well as 7.7 rebounds per game, both categories she led the team in. Payne also finished second on her team in both steals with 47 and assists with 76 respectively.
Becky Hebert finished off her final season as a Blue Devil with a bang averaging 22.4 points per game to earn her second mention on an All-Conference team for D3hoops. She shot a tremendous 56% from the field giving her the best field goal average of her team. She also finished second in assists on her team for the season with 65 total and third with 33 steals.
Payne was also recognized on the 2014 Women's DIII News All-American Fourth Team while Hebert was Honorable Mention. Both athletes were honored on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) Honorable Mention All-American team.
