Buffalo State senior attack Karen Shaddock (Corning, N.Y./Corning  East) has been selected as the SUNYAC and ECAC Upstate Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week after scoring 16 goals with 12 assists in a 2-2 week for the Bengals, including losses to #7 Colby and #11 Amherst. The Bengal career leader in points with 360, Shaddock became the all-time goal scorer at Buffalo State with 189 tallies by netting four scores in a win over Union in Clermont, Florida on March 24.

Geneseo junior Julie Bernatzky (Mt. Sinai, N.Y./Mt. Sinai) earned  SUNYAC Women's Lacrosse Goalie of the Week after posting a .600 save percentage and a goals against of 11.00 in a 1-1 week. Bernatzky allowed 14 goals with 13 saves in a narrow one-goal loss at Empire 8 power Ithaca on Wednesday and stopped 14 of 18 shots on goal for a .778 save percentage in Geneseo's win at Rochester on Saturday.
