Sixteen SUNYAC women’s lacrosse players were named to the IWLCA Division III All-Region teams for the 2012 season.
Cortland headlined the winners list for the SUNYAC, with six players receiving honors. Fredonia has four players named to one of the teams, while Buffalo State had three players and Brockport, Geneseo and Oneonta each had one athlete selected.
The IWLCA honored a total of 224 student-athletes in Division III. These athletes are now eligible for inclusion on the IWLCA All-American teams, which will be announced on May 24. The IWLCA will honor the National All-Americans at the IWLCA All-American banquet on June 16, 2012 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.
