SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Chris Bonacci from Cortland and Andrew Huffman from Brockport have been picked as the SUNYAC Baseball Athlete and Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 19.

Bonacci batted .667 (10-for-15) with a double, steal and three RBI in a 2-1 week for the Red Dragons. He went 5-for-5 with two RBI and four runs scored in a 23-3 win at Brevard on Wednesday, was 3-for-5 with an RBI in a loss to Case Western Reserve on Monday, and finished 2-for-5 with a double and a run in a 6-5 win over Case Western on Tuesday.

Huffman played in two games this week, back after his injury. He pitched just .1 innings in the first game, but he started his second game of the week with a strong first inning striking out eight batters in a row. Huffman only let up two hits and one run in his five innings and has a k/9 of 20.25 after the week.
