CORTLAND, N.Y. - Brockport defeated Cortland, 12-9, in 10 innings to capture the 2023 SUNYAC baseball title for the sixth time overall and first time since 2010, Sunday at Cortland's Robert H. Wallace Field. With the win the Golden Eagles earned an automatic berth into the NCAA Division III tournament.
Brockport's Zach Eldred was named the Tournament MVP after accumulating six hits, six runs, two RBI, two doubles and a triple over four games.
