Sullivan and Wagner Earn SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse Weekly Awards

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNYAC has chosen Geneseo's Brady Sullivan as its Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week and Cortland's Travis Wagner as the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Sullivan led the Knights offense to a 2-0 week with wins over St. John Fisher and New Paltz. He posted seven points on six goals and one assist. Against the Cardinals, Sullivan recorded two goals and an assist, then against the Hawks he chipped in four goals.

Wagner posted a 1-1 record with a 10.73 GAA, 33 saves and a 63.5 save percentage last week. In a 13-8 home setback versus nationally third-ranked RIT on Wednesday, Wagner made a career-high 18 saves in 57:20. He then turned aside 15 shots and surrendered just six goals in 48:54 in a 16-8 home win versus Potsdam on Saturday. For the season, Wagner has posted a 6-3 record with a 10.66 GAA and a 57.6 save percentage.
