Geneseo Wins 2023 SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse Title

GENESEO, N.Y. - The Knights defeated Cortland, 13-7, to win the SUNYAC men's lacrosse championship crown for the fourth time overall and first since 2007, Saturday at Geneseo's College Stadium. With the win, Geneseo earned an automatic berth into the 2023 NCAA Division III tournament.

Mark Pav, Geneseo's senior goalkeeper, was named the SUNYAC Men's Lacrosse MVP after totaling 15 saves and allowing just 10 goals in the tournament to help lead his team to the SUNYAC title win.

Elite 20

The SUNYAC Elite 20, an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. Geneseo's Trevor Bollinger is this year's men's lacrosse winner with a 4.0 GPA majoring in chemistry and sociology.
