SYRACUSE, N.Y. - New Paltz finished the 2024 regular season 17-1 in conference play to take the top seed and the right to host the SUNYAC softball double elimination championship for the second time in program history. The championship tournament will run from Thursday-Sunday, May 9-12.

New Paltz will face No. 6 Buffalo State (8-10) to start the championship at 10 a.m. on Thursday. Following at noon, No. 2 Cortland (15-3) will play No. 5 Fredonia (8-10). Then at 3 p.m. No. 3 Geneseo (14-4) will take on No. 4 Oneonta (13-5). The final game of the day will be beween the loser of game 1 and the loser of game 2 at 5 p.m. Games will continue on Friday at 10 a.m. View the full schedule here.
