SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The SUNYAC recognizes Matthew Beyer from Ithaca College as this week's Men's Wrestler of the Week and Billy Colloca from Oneonta as the Wrestling Rookie of the Week.

Competing in four matches as part of four separate duals, Beyer was undefeated in all four bouts bringing his career wins tally to 100 as he also helped the Bombers improve their record to 9-5. The graduate student earned a 7-3 decision victory over TCNJ's Mayson Harms as he landed a pair of shots on Hearns. The graduate student then helped turn things around in the Bombers 28-20 dual win over Springfield earning a second period fall at 3:40 over the Pride's Ty Stewert. He then captured arguably his strongest victory of the season pinning Keystone's Ralph Nieves in 16 seconds and would earn his 100th career victory in similar style this time earning a fall of Penn College's TJ Martin in 2:53.

Colloca finished 2-0 with two pins at the John Reese Duals at Wilkes University this week. Colloca recorded a 1:24 fall against Penn. Tech's Luke Heimbach as the Red Dragons won 24-21 over the Wildcats. He picked up his second pin against Wilkes' Connor Kerwin in 1:59.
