SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC recognizes Oneonta's Anderson Klosner as the 2024 Men's Wrestling Scholar Athlete of the Year. This award is nominated and voted on by the conference sports information directors. 

Junior Klosner has a 3.89 cumulative GPA as an adolescent education major. He was named the SUNYAC Men's Wrestling Elite 20 winner this season for being the individual with the highest GPA at the conference championship. Klosner placed fifth in the 149 weight class at the 2024 league championship meet. He finished the 2023-24 season with ten wins overall. 

Klosner was also named to the ECWC All-Academic team and the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll at the completion of the 2022-23 season.
