SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The SUNYAC has picked Buffalo State's Kaylee Valentic as this week's Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week while Kayla Schwizer from Oneonta was selected as the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Valentic was the Bengals' best offensive performer as Buffalo erupted for 18 goals over three games in a 2-0-1 week, scoring 12 points on four goal and four assists over the three contests. The sophomore midfielder scored a hat trick and added a pair of assists in a victory over Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday. She followed it up with a goal and two more assists against Thiel on Saturday. In both contests, Valentic provided the assist on the game-winning goal for Buffalo State.

Junior Schwizer was part of an Oneonta backline that helped the team go 3-0 with two clean sheets. She was also named the Mayor's Cup Defensive MVP after the Red Dragons claimed the team title with a 2-0 win over Keene State and a 1-0 win against Rutgers-Camden.
