Cortland Secures No. 1 Seed after Regular Season Play

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland (5-0-4) earned the top seed going into the 2023 SUNYAC women's soccer championship while Brockport (4-1-4) is No. 2. As the top two seeds, the Red Dragons and the Golden Eagles have a bye into the semifinals.

No. 4 New Paltz (4-2-3) will host fifth-seeded Oswego (3-2-4) and No. 3 Plattsburgh (4-1-4) will host sixth-seeded Geneseo (2-1-6) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 28. 

The winner of the New Paltz/Oswego game will travel to Cortland while the victor of the Geneseo/Plattsburgh game will go to Brockport, Wednesday, November 1 -- game times to be determined.

The championship game will be Saturday, November 4 at the higher seed. Geneseo won the 2022 women's soccer championship crown. Oneonta leads the conference with 13 total league titles.
