Engaging and Empowering Today’s Female Leaders in Intercollegiate Athletics

CORTLAND, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) will present Engaging and Empowering Today's Female Leaders in Intercollegiate Athletics, Sunday, September 25 at the Holiday Inn Liverpool.

The program will include five guest speakers who will share their experiences and expertise and field questions. The day will also provide an opportunity to network with other local professionals.

The schedule is set with doors opening at 8 a.m., the first speaker will start at 9 a.m. and the last speaker will conclude at 6 p.m. See the full schedule below.

September 25, 2016 Schedule:
8:00am-8:45am: Registration and Coffee

9:00am-10:30am: Judy Sweet, Co-Chair NCAA Gender Equity Task Force and Title IX Expert (Title IX Updates and the Role of the SWA)

10:45am-12:15pm: M. Dianne Murphy, former Athletic Director at Columbia University and the University of Denver; now consulting with the Pictor Group (Contract and Salary Negotiation)

12:30pm-1:30pm: Lunch

1:45pm-2:45pm: Tracey Ranieri, Athletic Director at SUNY Oneonta and member of the NCAA Management Council (Performance Programs and Performance Evaluations)

3:00pm-4:30pm: Kimberly Keenan-Kirkpatrick, Deputy AD/SWA at Syracuse University (Supervising Sports)

4:45pm-6:00pm: Michelle Manning, Associate Athletic Director/SWA at Ithaca College (Transitioning from a Coaching Role to an Administrative Role)
