SUNYAC announces Athletes of the Week for Swim & Dive and Ice Hockey
HOCKEY GOALIE OF THE WEEK – Brendan McMenimen (JR), Potsdam 
Position: Goalie
Hometown: Merrimac, M.A.
McMenimen made 39 saves for a .975 save percentage in the Bears' 4-1 season-opening victory over Saint Michael's on Friday. 

ICE HOCKEY ROOKIE OF THE WEEK – Bryce Ferrell (FR), Potsdam
Position: F
Hometown: Buffalo, N.Y.
Ferrell had three points in his first two collegiate games. He recorded a goal and an assist in the Bears? 4-1 win over Saint Michael's on Friday. He then scored Potsdam's lone goal in a 1-1 tie with Castleton on Saturday

ICE HOCKEY ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Kenny Neil (SR), Oswego State
Position: F
Hometown: Clarenville, N.L.
Neil recorded four goals on just five shots in two wins against Elmira College over the weekend. The senior had one of those goals in shorthanded fashion - along with an assist - in a 7-1 victory over the Soaring Eagles at home on Friday. At Elmira on Saturday, the captain tallied three goals for his first career hat-trick. His final two goals came at a crucial time, as Oswego only had a one-goal advantage late in the third period before Neil's pair of scores in the final 10 minutes. 

MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK– Jeff Doser (JR), Geneseo 
Hometown: Penfield, N.Y.
Doser won two events and swam on a winning relay as the Knights opened the season at Division I Canisius on Saturday. He won the 200 freestyle (1:43.72) with the 12th-fastest time in the nation and then the 100 freestyle (47.30) with the 15th-fastest. He also anchored the winning 200 medley relay (1:35.47) that posted Division III's ninth-fastest time this season. 

MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK – Arron Carlson (SR), Fredonia
Hometown: LeRoy, N.Y.
Carlson has won all six events he's entered this fall. He won both boards 10/7 vs. Niagara, both 10/22 vs. Ithaca and Brockport, and both 10/29 vs. RIT. Set a pool record in off the 1-meter 10/22 and subsequently broke his own record 10/29 (352.55 points). Best 3-meter score so far is 320.40 on 10/22. Provisionally qualfied for zones off both boards.

WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK – Leeza Seelbach (JR), Geneseo
Hometown: Hyde Park, N.Y.
Seelbach won two individual events and added a leg to a victorious relay to lead the Knights to a 130-5-112.5 victory at Division I Canisius on Saturday. She swam Division III's 24th-fastest time in winning the 50 freestyle (24.75) and posted the 36th-fastest time in winning the 100 freestyle (54.47). Seelbach then added a leg to the winning 200 free relay (1:39.05) that posted the third-fastest time in the country this season. 

WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK- Claudia Kolakowski (SR), Geneseo
Hometown: Highland Mills, N.Y.
Kolakowski swept both diving events to help lead Geneseo to a 130.5-112.5 victory at Division I Canisius on Saturday. She won the 1-meter competition with a 242.25 score while her 231.50 on 3-meter was also tops.
