CORTLAND, N.Y. - The 2017 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) baseball, softball and men's and women's lacrosse brackets are set.
Competition will begin Tuesday with the first round of the women's lacrosse six-team championship at 4 p.m. The third-seed Geneseo (5-3) will host #6 Buffalo State (3-5) while #4 Oswego (5-3) will host #5 Oneonta (4-3). The top-seeded, undefeated, 8-0, Brockport earned a bye and the right to host the semifinal and final games May 5-6. The Eagles will play the winner of Oswego vs. Oneonta at 12:30 p.m. Second seeded Cortland also earned a bye and will face the winner of Geneseo vs. Buffalo State Friday at 4 p.m.
The championship game is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Brockport's Bob Boozer Field.

Men's lacrosse will face off in the SUNYAC semifinals Wednesday with #1 undefeated, 6-0, Cortland hosting #4 Geneseo (3-3) and #2 Plattsburgh (5-1) taking on #3 Brockport (4-2) at home. Both games are set for 4 p.m. and the championship game will be played at the highest remaining seed Saturday at 1 p.m.

Cortland will host the 2017 SUNYAC softball six-team double elimination championship after finishing first in the regular season, 14-4. The Cortland Red Dragons will play first facing #6 Oneonta at 9 a.m. Thursday. Second-seeded Oswego (11-7) will take on #5 New Paltz (10-8) at 11 a.m. and Third-seeded Plattsburgh (11-7) will play #4 Buffalo State (11-7) at 1 p.m. The last game of the day will be an elimination game between the loser of game one and two at 3 p.m.

The SUNYAC baseball four-team double elimination championship will be held at top-seeded Oswego (15-3) starting Friday, May 5. The Lakers, will face the fourth-seeded New Paltz (8-10) at noon followed by the #2 Cortland (14-4) against #3 Brockport (13-5) at 3:30 p.m. The winner's bracket will continue with a 1 p.m. game on Saturday while the loser's bracket will play around that game at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Check out the championship page for up-to-date information here.
